So, inspite of the nasty comment a not so Dear Reader posted, the folks at Kinko's clearly did not agree with him! In fact they were so happy I let them know of the problem (below) that they sent me huge box of the paper I'd wanted. A veritable lifetime supply!
Seriously, the excellent customer service response has made a convert and fan of me. Why I might even buy the stock. So again...squeaky wheelers...when things are not up to par, complain in a nice way and you might even improve things for others!
Now as far as anonymous blog posters...well, that's another story.

Apparently you completely missed the point, so I will repeat it for you:
Why do you think that YOU are so much better than everyone else that you "don't stand in line"? Hate to break it to you, but you're made of the same kind of material everyone else is made of. In the civilized world, people have to take turns in line for pretty much everything.
Now, what's so hostile and nasty about that? Unless it's that you think you're so superior to the rest of the population to STAND IN LINE, for whatever reason. The only reason you got the free paper was to shut you up. So now you can SHUT UP about it, and move on to the next poor cashier...
Relax dear...stop reading me. It's obviously upsetting you.
Bravo, Susan! Customer service has eroded terribly in recent decades; the consumer needs to speak up and let companies know they want to be treated considerately. Without us, where would the profit-making companies be?
As to your friend, anonymous... Ignore weasels who hit and run in blog comments without identifying themselves. Someone has what we used to call "a complex," I fear. ;-)
anne....i emailed your blog! thanks for the support...ss
I meant to add: Check out Consumerist.com. It is a wonderful, sassy consumer blog that often includes anecdotes such as yours about customer service or the lack thereof.
