well, i was on The Today Show on Friday but not in NY. A crane fell and they had the nerve to bump our spot for serious news!

How fun, though..even for no money, and you have an official-ish gauge on where you are after two glasses.
I have to agree with your comment re: SATC. Here on the west coast(at least in San Francisco where I live) in the early 90s women either had cocktail gatherings for their friends or it was a "dinner and.." kind of thing. It's now acceptable to go out for drinks and even club hop a bit.
Have you seen the movie, or are you not a SATC person?
I'm very much not a Sex & The City Gal. I found it to be unlike the real women i knew..much more like gay guys putting their own lives into female bodies. I do think the show evolved into something about friendship, but I'm told the movie is back to oogling naked guys...not that there's anything wrong with that! anyway, i think i'll pass for now.
