Now that I gave Sarah Palin her due...see other columns...I have to say that
I find it outrageous that they are not letting her do any of the press interviews
that other candidates have to do. What are they afraid of? They owe it to
the American voter to be able to have the info to vet her ourselves.

I totally agree.
But... I despair. Somehow this bumbling McCain choice has turned out to his advantage in the polls, and for mostly superficial reasons. "I like her." "She gave a great speech." "I can relate to her." (Huh?)
I'm feeling too old for all the angst of this election. Wake me up when it's over! (or rather, just in time to cast my vote)
