you should read....

Dear Readers, not to get too too intellectual on ya, but there is a piece in the NY Times Mag of this Sunday that is must reading. Francis Fukuyama (it's worth it just to contemplate the life experience with that name) writes on why neo-conservatism has failed. It is the most cogent argument I 've seen on the topic of Iraq et al. And regardless of your politics, it makes brilliant sense!

Susan, I will read that article later, but just wanted to say "hi". I love your Mr Adequate column, and you and I have similar taste in TV. Love all the same shows, especially the bounty hunter. Will keep a lookout here in Fairfield County for any exciting Mr. Adequates! Glad you have a blog

If you mean you cannot bring democracy to a country by undemocratic means you are right.

But then, when does a neo-con become a neo-crazy?

Susan

It was very well-written by someone who got caught in quicksand. Is democracy another word for oil. The end result has been a disaster

If you don't watch Boston Legal tues 10p.m. Try to catch "footballers wives" on BBCAmerica.

Written by women empowering women

The end of last season they thru the male villain off a roof. The first week, this week they killed off a woman who died after being ravaged by anorexia. I guess the writers didn't like her personally. I thought you would enjoy that as a writer.

They will probably repeat this episode this weekend

Enjoy

eddie, thanks for writing. the wierd thing is i was going to put up a blog about not really wanting to see these anorectic twins who each weigh 65 & are on the entertainment shows...but now I guess someone else has addressed it!
