So, it's not just me!

Today in the NY Post there was a really alarming article about dating in various cities in the US. Not one seemed to be good! And these were women in their 30's talking. If it's no good for them, imagine what those of us who are of a "certain" age are facing? What is wrong? Where are all the good men? Hmmm? Let me know, please. And we'll all move there!

I have found there are plenty of men out there, just not anyone I'm interested in. I envision my life a certain way as I'm getting older. Maybe that's the problem?

I think you might be exactly right.
There are a lot of things that I might have been more wishy-washy about when I was in my 20s-young 30s that now are absolutely not negotiable. That goes for men, my job (I work in a male-dominated profession) how shop clerks treat me, and other things like that. I have standards that must be met or I will spend my time and money elsewhere, or find new employment. I just don't find that many men that measure up..and the ones that do don't like me!
