The big wedding

So one of my best friends got married this weekend. He was 51 and it was the first one! They had been on and off for 13 years and it was such a relief for us all! I just want them to have babies already!
He said something really great at the ceremony...that it was probably best they had waited this long...to do it right. And I believe that. If you are meant to be with someone, it'll be. No matter how long it takes.
The wedding was like a great fun party. I haven't been to one in a while.
Next time...me? It could happen!! Let's put that out into the Universe...shall we?!

It was worth leaving Aspen to go to the wedding, sounds like you had a great time.

Love this new photograph too,my grand mama used to tell my sisters and any other ladies that wanted to hear it,that the best accesory a girl could wear was a smile and she was so right, you can put a girl in haute couture, pile on loads of great jewelry, but if she is not wearing the best accesory of all,a genuine smile, forget it!You,my dear wear your smile very well!

Susan,

Mr. Sicilano outdid himself with your new photo. It's quite lovely. Nice to have you back...

thanks...was concerned about the head being cut off but i'm told it's "arty.."

By cutting the head off, it forces the viewer to focus completely on your face - no distractions from a certain hairstyle, etc.

Great pics so far - the photographer did a fine job, but remember that a photographer is only as good as his subject.

Hi Susan- I was watching that matchmaker show recently and she said the old "if it's meant to be it will be" thinking is not happening. On the other hand I'm not comfortable with online dating services. It feels like you're paying for hope and leaving yourself wide open to be manipulated. What about having an active social life and letting things happen organically?

Oh yes, btw your new picture is awesome!
